The Central available for Christmas parties!
The Central is available for private hire for Christmas parties this December, be they for family, work, band or anything else.
We have three rooms that can be hired either separately or together, and can provide Christmas meals, cocktails, decor and entertainment to your specifications. Email Fiona on info@centralmusicvenue.co.uk

Yes, its that time of year again- time to think when and where you are going to host your company or family Christmas party! Leave it too late and you run the risk of missing the date that you want- there is only 23 of them to have after all, and venues are booking up fast!

PART DINOSAUR added to HYHI show on 24th July
Great Ancestors will unfortunately not be playing at Saturday’s HOLD YOUR HORSE IS show due to them pulling out of the tour, but we are pleased to announce that the awesome PART DINOSAUR are replacing them on this bill!
Part Dinosaur are an indie-noise quartet who originated in Southampton, but nowadays find themselves in and around London. Described as “super-catchy indie with mathy flourishes” and armed with a strong DIY ethic, a debut self-released EP and a growing fan base, they are on tour until the end of July.

Grand Central function room available for hire!
Our Grand Central function room is available for gigs, clubnights, private parties, corporate events, screenings, pretty much anything you can think of! With a capacity of 80, full PA & DJ equipment and big screen projector, the room is perfect for all sorts of events.
Intimate and/or intense gigs, family get togethers, birthday parties, niche clubnights, business meetings, film & video screenings and more are all catered for, and our inhouse chef can provide buffets, three course meals or any other food requirements.
Brand new quiz night starting tomorrow!
Think you know all the answers? Believe you cant possibly be wrong? The 19th of May (TOMORROW!) The Central hosts its first quiz night. Theres plenty of fun and games to be had and prizes to be won.
With questions on every subject imaginable theres something to suit everyone. Think youll be no help? Everybody always gets one right!
Afterwards we have a round of sticky 13′s and some killer pool so everybody has a chance of winning something.
